Part 1:Latest News:Google Adsense Referral Program will be retired!!

I just found this information from problogger.net.After I check with google adsense help center,I found that it is really true. But don’t worry adsense still live not yet dead.

This is latest news from google. It is about their google adsense referral program will be retired the last week of August for both AdWords advertiser products and Google products. But first let me clarify that only referral units promoting AdSense will be affected by this change; referrals to other products and services remain unaffected at this time.

Beginning in late August, any remaining referral ads on your site will no longer work, and will appear as blank space on your website. In order to prevent a decrease in your AdSense earnings, they strongly encourage you to replace all referral ad code on your sites with AdSense for content ad code prior to the last week of August. You can get this ad code by signing in to your AdSense account, selecting the AdSense Setup tab, and choosing AdSense for content as the product.

For your information google announced that they will draw their ‘Referrals’ program but will be followed by relaunching their new Google affiliate network. For your information also new affiliate network is not ‘new’ - but a rebranded version of DoubleClick’s Performics Affiliate Network which they acquired in March.

This is news that many of us expected - particularly since Google bought DoubleClick earlier in the year. It’s also not surprising as most publishers that I know have had very little success with the Referrals program within AdSense
